So when's the for sale section going to get some love?

There has been a lot of complaints and confusion ever since the "New" for sale section appeared.

The new one is giving people problems posting and is not very user friendly to navigate around.

Also, I've noticed some new postings that have been appearing in the "Old" for sale section. I assume that the Mods are just moving these from others forums into there. But doesn't that defeat the purpose of the new for sale section?
And it creates confusion for other members who see these new posts and cannot figure out why they can't create one.

Oh and make a new link under the Marketplace that takes you directly to the "New" for sale section instead of having to click on the Sticky thread about it.

The NEW for sale section should be for dealers only, because it is confusing. The old Classifieds where good for private sales.

Wow! This is confusing. One member posted that he had a logging winch for sale in the classified section and I sure can't find it.

Too many branches and sub-sub forums or what?

This is very confusing and I can't figure out how to post in private party ads even though I see other recently posted ads. What am I dong wrong?

From what I see maybe this is just the way it is. CL is OK but does anyone else use a different tractor or ag related site where I could post a couple implements for sale?

ironsearch i think is the name? always hated the layout and functionality of this website
tractorhouse
craiglist

check your local newspapers, you might be able to post free on the internet listings they have. some of the smaller papers/prints may cost a few bucks.

The ad process through TractorHouse.com was a PITA.
You got there through this site, the new deal sort of.
After relogging in you had the usual questions and then nothing happened.
A few days later nothing then I got an e-mail to contact tractorHouse.com.
I attempted to do this via e-mail but they wouldn't have it, so I had to wait.
Finally I got in touch via my cell which I didn't want to use in the ad but TractorHouse pushed for it !

My ad took about two weeks to get through the screening because of back and forth on info transfer.
I didn't leave my Tel number so things took a little longer.
BUT once the process was completed and the ad went live, the tractor sold in a week and at full price.

One last try on this before I post a for sale ad elsewhere. I would like to post in a typical forum site like this guy has done on this site.

BUT, I am not going though the complex arrangement as described in this first post. It doesn't work.

I would really like to post some things for sale--that would be helpful to other TBN people-- on this site but I can't figure it out. Is it possible? :)

I have been trying to post a machine on the classifieds. It keeps saying "Price section contains only numbers". Doesn't matter what I put, it just keeps saying that.

Good luck. Seems to me they only want the advertisers to post. Craigslist has worked the best for me if you can tune out the spanners and low-ballers. Next would be something like Tractorhouse. I haven't used that one yet but others like it. If you figure out how to do it, post your results here please.

Are you putting in a comma? I can enter number or numbers with a decimal point without it complaining, but it complains ("The Price field must contain only numbers.")when I put in a letter or comma.
