Forcast

I just ordered a new snow pusher attachment for my tractor. So, I predict a low snowfall season.
It's funny just how effective that really is. I bought a 64" snowblower for my old tractor, after several straight years of big snowfall, here. Then we didn't get another flake until after the 2 year warranty expired on the stupid thing. :ROFLMAO:

That's only a slight exaggeration, I think we did get one 2" or 3" storm one year, almost not even enough to try to blow.

I spent a couple of grand installing a 3rd range "creep" gearset to run my 8' blower for "the big one" a couple of years ago!

It's too much blower for my m9540 and 1st gear at pto rpms for the blower and travels to fast (power) to take advantage of the blowers size so I understand that it seems to keep the snow away.
It's not that I'd blow over plow very often, but it would be nice to justify that expense. 👍

They are persimmon seeds, cut in half. There is an old wives tale that says you can predict the winter weather, spoons ,snow knives, frigid and icy, forks, mild.
Does NOAA know about this prediction tool?

I sold my Western Contractor plow and my 74" inverted blower this summer and bought a seven foot pusher.

After buying the blower four years ago I may have used it 20 times and never needed to deal with any thing over 10".

So we are going to ger HAMMERED this year.

Since I bought my BX seven years ago and put my JD 430 diesel on permanent snow blower duty, I have only put about 20 hours on it, and only used it seven times in the last two years. I do start it up frequently, often to move it out of the shop to move something behind it. It's a '91 model and only has ~1100 hours on it, so it's barely broken in.
