Hello everyone,

I did quite a bit of searching on the forum before I decided to post and didn't come up with much info. I have a Late 1980's Ford 1520 hydro with 7108 Ford Loader. I recently picked up a Ford 758A backhoe attachment at a really good price. Unfortunately it came without the subframe. I will be putting this hoe on my tractor with a subframe but I would like some pictures of Ford 1520, 1720, 1920 tractors with subframe mounted hoes so I can get some ideas to put my mad welding and fabrication skills to use!!

I don't want to get into a debate on weather or not this is the right hoe for the tractor because it will work. It will have to work because I already bought it :) I don't want to get into a debate on 3 point mounts because that will not be the case.

Specifically want good pictures of the front and rear mount points and under the tractor, maybe a pic of how your subframe lines up. I did capture some that were posted a while back that will probably be helpful but I would like a little more detail. Maybe some pics of your hydraulic hookups too.

Thanks!!!

looks like an another subframe listing as well coming back from the search.

google "ford 1520 sub frame" and then click up on "images" brings back some different types of sub frames for different backhoes.

Thanks for the reply. Did all that already, no good close up pics of mount points that I could find. New Holland parts diagram shows a subframe but for what, and that still doesn't show me where it mounts to the tractor. You can't order the part from them because everything I click on says model superceeded and won't show a price not that I would want to even see a price.

Still looking for some pictures from someone who has this series tractor with a backhoe on a subframe mount. That will help me build it. Got a good idea how the front of the subframe attaches, just need to see the back.

Thanks!!

Hi I'm new here (first post) you probably already have this project complete but if not I can send you pics of the mounts on my 1920. Just let me know if you still need them.

I think I have the subframe pretty much wrapped up. I still need some pictures of the hydraulic connections if you could. You can post them right here in this thread. I will take some pics of my project in a few days when I get back from vacation. Where is Rome Pa at?

It's in Bradford county near the NY border. My hoe is actually the 758b but it should be pretty close to what you have. One connection is midway down the tractor (underside) and the other is a rear remote. I will get you some pics tomorrow.

Here you are... hope this helps. You can also see the front hanger for the back hoe frame in a couple of the pictures. Anything else I can help with just let me know.

Great pictues! The port at the rear right side above the axel is the return correct? Its exactly the same as mine, no problem with that one. The trouble is at the front. I have the same manifold block but all my ports are used, steel lines connected to them. In the manual, it says the one you have the quick connect hooked to goes to the 3pt control. I have a steel line in the same position that runs up to the loader control but there is a line that comes out of the rear of that block, it attaches with two bolts and proceeds back to the three point control??? So if I connect the pressure line to the backhoe the same place you have it, what do I do with the steel line that is there now?

Here is the subframe almost done. 4x4x1/2" angle, should be heavy enough.

First picture is where the return goes as far as I can tell. here is a picture of mine. Pretty much the same thing, just need a quick connect.KIMG0107.jpg

The last one is the one I can't figure out. Here is what my hydraulic manifold looks like. KIMG0106.JPG
