Backhoe Ford 1520 4WD and Ford 758A Backhoe

I think you will want to remove the steel line and replace it with the same set up that is on mine. You will hook the two hoses together bypassing the block. It makes sense to hook into the 3pt control because you have to remove the 3pt arms anyway. I can get you a pic of the other end of that hose if you would like. I believe the rear port is the return.

It looks like your distribution block is a little different but once you determine what line is the 3pt it should be pretty easy to tie in.

Yeah but the part I don't get is that it goes to the loader control. Lets say that I disconnect that same line and put a quick coupler on there and run it to the backhoe, What happens to the steel line that goes to the loader control? Remove it and put a plug where it attaches to the loader spool valve? Really amazes me that I can't find anything on the internet or any other forum about how to connect a backhoe to a ford 1520. Nobody ever posted pictures. There was another confusing thread about disconnect this and bypass that but didn't make any sense to me. Looks to me like you have your hoe off the tractor when you took the pics.... where does the line go when you don't have the backhoe on? That just might solve the mystery...LOL

Yes mine has a flat head screw in there also, don't know if you can see it in the pic. That is supposed to be to bypass the 3PT??

You are correct the hoe isn't on in the pics. I'm just showing where to connect your lines. My loader is fully functional when the backhoe is connected so it must be using the 3pt control. To be honest I've never really thought about it because I just hook up and go. I'm working right now. When I get home in the morning I will check it out and get back to you. Hang in there we'll get it figured out.

Now were getting somewhere. Here's a guy with the exact same problem. So from the looks of it, you have to replace the steel hose with a rubber hose and a quick connect and then another quick connect on the manifold. So the one that goes from the loader control valve to the manifold just gets unplugged and you plug the backhoe pressure (feed) line into the manifold in its place. I think I got it???

You got it but you will hook into the hose not the manifold.

Here's a few more pics. The flex hose does run into the loader control. Not sure how it works but it does. I also included some pictures of the backhoe frame and hoses. I know you have your frame bolted up but the factory setup allows you to remove the hoe in less than five minutes. I'd add a couple gussets to your attachment points because they will receive some abuse. Hope this helps.

If you don't mind me jumping in on here, I am looking to attach a Rhino 75C backhoe to my Ford 1900 (1981), It comes with a supframe but it says it will fit NH TC30, 40 and 50's. I will probaly need to make a bracket or two. But i am stuck as to where the attachments for the front goes and for the rear. Plus the hydraulics I am a little stumped on.
