If I were you I'd get it bought if the price is right. Then worry about attaching it. That thing looks pretty nice and it won't last long on craigslist.
So i checked my Ford 1900 and i don't have any side mounting holes like you do, All i have is four bolt holes on the bottom of the tractor. (not sure what they are for.)
yea, so i end up looking at the backhoe today and end up putting a deposit on it and will be picking it up on Monday! I could not pass it up, the backhoe was clean all around and very little rust- new paint job would make it look brand new! Now just to figure where it can attach to my 1900 and get some hoses and quick disconnects.
I just got the backhoe today, and i think i figured out a way to get it to attach by making two brackets and attaching it to the side of the loader mounting bolts using 3 bolts.
You should be able to get pressure from the hydraulic block under the seat right hand side(I think). Not sure where to install a return yet. I'll keep looking. The best thing to do is install a gauge into a port that is currently plugged off and see what kind of pressure you have. One of those that is sticking out of the rear of the block should work. For the return you can always pipe into your fill port using a tee so you don't have to remove the line to add fluid. It wouldn't be my first choice but it's an option. There has to be some installation instructions out there somewhere...the 757/758 backhoes were an option for your 1900. If you can find a copy it would help a lot even though you have a different model hoe.
