I'm changing the fuel line from the sediment bowl to the carberator to a steel line with flared fittings. The fitting on the fuel pump side of the sediment bowl fits the carb and it's already a flared fitting. Just don't run it into the carb too far or it will break out the threaded part of the carb. That's experience talking. I was fortunate enough to know someone with a top part of the carb. I'll post pictures later. This can be done for less than $20 unless you break the carb.

You will have to bend it yourself, which isnt hard, just be careful not to kink it. If you dont have a bender, bend it in small increments and a larger radius.

I have a 1973 Ford 2000 3 cyl gas tractor that leaks where the fuel line connects to the shut off valve. The fuel line and associated parts are 'not serviced' anymore. Does anyone know where I can get the nut and flange that connect into the valve, or even a complete line? Also, what size is the fuel line? Is it 5/16 inch?
