Ford 3000 draft control arm

I have a Ford 3000, and I have broken the draft control (touch control) arm off while backing. I need to replace it since I cannot raise and lower the brush cutter without it. I have searched for it on the internet, and I have called the local NH dealer. I cannot seem to find it. My next step is to try to find it on here, and I am wondering if its universal? Can I use the arm off of a 2000, or a 4000 or a later model? My year model is a 73 or 75. I cannot remember exactly. If I need to know exacts please inform. Any help would be appreciated!

Like Soundguy said. Post some pictures of the part in question. It sounds like you broke the lift rocker in the back?

The actual photo is the exact part I am looking for. As you can see its part number 33 on the parts manual, but the image there doesnt represent the actual handle/lift arm. Any ideas?

I appreciate your patients in my ignorance as to how to post a photo. I finally realized I had to post from my computer and not my handheld phone. I would like to try and find the part for my tractor, and replace it. the guage that holds the arm in place is also kind of bent, but I think that I could work with that. Thanks for your help in advance!

keyway looks good, flange looks good, metal handle looks good...

Don't believe that is his handle, probably found picture on the net.

I have a 3000 lift handle but it doesn't have the hub, just the flat friction area like in the parts drawing posted. What's with the hub, my 71 3000 has the flat version, is this from an earlier tractor?

That is a picture of what I need. I bent/broke the handle while backing up on a downed tree. A limb came in from under the seat, and I didnt see it. I bent the arm and the hieght guage. When I tried to bend these back into place the arm broke and the guage, well I just let it be. Its still bent and could use another also. I have searched all websites, and I find that I dont know the real name of this piece. The book calls it a touch control arm, but I have seen other names for it. I have been using a vice wrench to raise and lower while looking for the part, but again, I cannot find it. The parts houses listed above will not let me "drill down" to the part. I guess I need to find a local guy who has one he is parting out, but I dont see many of those around here. Please let me know if anyone has a lead on this! Thanks!
