thanks soundguy, Once again you offer valuable advice, I'll repost after I do the fluid change out (hopefully this weekend if Im not working ) of what the oil looked like. I truely appreciate your help.

just BTDT.. I've rescued submerged tractors before I had to repeatedly rinse the sumps out to get rid of silt.

long preocess.. but even dirty ones can be saved, if you want to.
