Hi There. New here.
Trying to sort a friends 5610. Got it running but something in the trans is baffling. Downloaded an e manual, but seems to be for wrong Gen. There were at least Gen 2 and maybe 3(?). So the answer is not in there.
To do with gear selection. Have got it running by not using selector rail for 3-4.
The interlock detents seem wrong. On the 1-2 rail there is a detent groove at each end of the rail (nothing in the middle). This means the interlock plug can only free up the 3-4 rail when 1-2 is engaged in a gear. The 3-4 rail has one groove - in the center of the rail (neutral). So it is locked when the 1-2 rail is in neutral and can only free itself when the 1-2 rail has a gear selected. This means 2 gears selected when using the 3-4 rail.
Has anyone figured this problem out? Something seems wrong here.
Thanks in advance
