I think you have a lot to be happy with. With any luck, you'll have a really nice cabbed tractor. Are you gonna call it "Ol' 758"?

Just for fun, you should crank up the sweeper and do your driveway just because you can.

I did turn the sweeper on just to see if it worked and it did When we picked it up it was raining so we didn't get a chance to go over everything. I messed with it last night and suprisingly the a/c works VERY well.

I am planning on blue/white to make it look like a ford.

Anybody know where I might get a user's manual?

Id check w/ your local NH dealer first. I bet though he'll sell you a photocopied version. Thats OK unless you want to see details in the pics, then all bets are off. Places like ebay and what not usually have old original manuals for farm equipment. Id do a net search and see what turns up.

ETA: Is the sweeper staying on the tractor? If off are you keeping it or selling?

As Jimg said, Ebay is most likely the easiest place to find them but generally you find more for the 7710-II then the 7710. I bought mine off of Ebay as well as quite a few other hard to find manuals.

Thanks, I'll check out ebay. I found a service manual online that I downloaded, I'm sure it'll help later on.

I plan on doing a little tlc on the sweeper then selling it to cover costs on other implements.

I've got a few questions after working on it for a few days.

Where should I be able to find the serial number? I'm trying to figure out what year it is.

I'm replacing the interior with the kit from K & M Manufacturing - Your source for tractor seats & accessories. which is going to look great. One problem I have right now is there is a bunch of left over adhesive/foam from the old stuff that is pretty much caked on. I talked to a guy at k and m, he said use a wire brush. I was wondering if someone knew of a solvent or something I might be able to use to loosen up the adhesive?

I've changed out all of the fluids, replaced filters, and removed the sweeper. Everything so far has been pretty easy...except removing the seat, that thing had to weigh about 150#...wasn't very fun by myself.

The first thing you should do is take it to a New Holland dealer and have them go over the entire tractor and put it on a dyno. Make sure everything is up to specs and have them inspect everything.

Ha..Ha and have them tell you it's the wrong colour and a little rusty.....You could buy a lot of parts with what they will charge..?

Fantastic tractor...One of fords best .

An hour of dyno time is a good investment at normal shop rates. We aren't talking about a 'walk around' visual inspection.
