And on the spark plug topic, these engines are hard on plugs. I do mine every 40K miles, but im also tuned. Thankfully they are very easy to replace.
Y'all are lucky so far. I have read that the Ford
ecoboost to treat it like the plague.
Common issues with Ford's EcoBoost engines include: carbon buildup on intake valves due to direct injection, intercooler condensation, timing chain stretching, ignition system failures, coolant leaks, turbocharger problems, and potential issues with cam phasers;

I agree all those issues happen to the eco boost. I don’t own one but have a 5.0. I know people that own one and my general feeling is they are a solid engine no more likely to be a problem than other engines. They have been improved over the years too. For example they are both indirect and direct injected to prevent the build up on valves.Y'all are lucky so far. I have read that the Ford

My area in Texas has seen what you say. The Ford dealer in the small town will probably close it doors forever soon.My last work truck was a Ford F250. I will never own another one. My company bought 6 of them at the same time. All 6 spent more time in the garage than on the road.
From what I heard about the eco boost is there are many issues with them also.
