Found a great use for pallet forks

Here's a little better price (though it's gone up a lot from last I checked!) on a re-mountable thumb grapple for forks or buckets.

I want to have one of these on my forks too, but my forks are super light duty (2100 lbs for compact tractors) and the frame wouldn't hold up. My 54" MTL grapple does the trick for moving logs just fine, and was only $1200 shipped.

If you want, you can slide it right off just like the adjustable forks come off. It's made by ALO, but it's probably on the heavy side for a small tractor.

I ended choosing a SSQA grapple without forks for $999 from Titan. I have a set of 42" forks laying around from a previous lift that got 48" forks years ago. This will work immediately with the 773 Bobcat and I will have to know look into putting a 3rd function on the LA1065 loader. Thanks for the information. My application is pretty light duty compared to the pictures posted. I'll be moving mostly brush and limbs.

Great for logs. Add a log grapple and you got a weapon.

I don't think my machine could pick up that grapple, let alone that log.

But yes, I'd like a grapple on my forks. It would be very handy to have one that could go down between the forks to pinch stuff of varying size, as well as grabbing a brush pile.

IMO a basic thumb grapple is one of the easiest DIY (hydraulic) projects...and also one of the most useful...

I have SSQA forks from my Bobcat that fit the MX5200 I would love to put a grapple claw on this as I have a Caterpillar forklift for most fork jobs. Does anybody sell a claw that can be added to a set of forks?

I keep very low pressure in my tires. Keeps them from bouncing.

I don't know what you call very low pressure. I keep 10# in my rear tires quite often in muddy areas for more traction but if I put 10# in my front tires with a load like that and took a sharp turn, the tire would come loose from the rim.
