Found a great use for pallet forks

I have only had a set of pallet forks for a short time. I keep finding more and more uses for them. I even move pallets with them sometimes as well.

I have SSQA forks from my Bobcat that fit the MX5200 I would love to put a grapple claw on this as I have a Caterpillar forklift for most fork jobs. Does anybody sell a claw that can be added to a set of forks?

My forks are on the SSQA around 50% of the time too. I take them off to park in my garage to save space, though. So most days I fire up the tractor and get to decide what to flip the levers on. Sometimes it's nothing at all.

The other day when I was driving home, I saw a couple of stumps on my place from the road that have been sitting there for over a year. I tried to pick them up with my grapple, but couldn't ever get a good grip on them. Too round, too big, and too heavy. So I got to wondering if the pallet forks would slide under them and pick them up. They did!!!!!

You can also dig out stumps with forks if you're careful.

Careful is the key word. You will hate yourself if you ever bend a fork
Had a worker do that on a rental once. The bill was ugly.

Pallet forks with a basic thumb grapple can perform most of the tasks full clam shell grapples can without the added expense of a full grapple...

Pine, this isn't directed at you, but I've been saying that in here for years, and all I would get is an argument! lol I knew the day would come when more folks would realize I was right.

Everyone who buys a tractor becomes an expert the "next day", and those of us that been doing this stuff for many years don't know anything...

Pallet forks with a grapple is by far more useful than the big grapples folks in here buy, but we gotta impress our neighbors, don't we. lol

Isn't this full of truth!
I see the weld on claw for pallet forks... My thoughts go to a removable claw, that would be the BEST. Best of both worlds
