Was poking through Craigslist the other night and found a step-in loader for my MF65 - he has the MF65 mounting brackets, and is asking $500 for it, and it's in good operating condition.

I pick it up this morning!

Then I'll get my exhaust leaks fixed, and the muffler rigged - and I am going to be one seriously happy lad!

This is all just a real dream come true.

Good find! You'll have to post a few pics when you're done.

I picked up the loader. I am still not sure how I am going to get it out of my trailer. :)

It has a hydraulic pump driven off an adapter on the end of the crank - with a rod that goes through the hand crank hole, which then connects to the pump. That rod is broken. Overall it seems very solid. Good bucket. It's seepy but I know that basically they all are.

Good deal. Maybe you can modify the pump to run off the rear pto instead?

That is wicked-good idea. I will ponder that one. Thanks!

Looks a lot like the loader that Dad used to have on his Industrial 35. That thing was a beast. Loaded tires, cast wheel weights and you could still pick the back end of the tractor up with something heavy enough in the bucket.

I completely agree with what aczlan said, but you can destroy a front axle in short order. Trust me. Congrats on the great find!

Depends on the axle... The front axle on Dads was a 4x6 (or so) tube that wasn't going anywhere.
See here for a picture.

That may not be the same axle... Mine broke through one of the holes for adjusting the width, and the pivot pin also broke. Then again, we were feeding 1900lb bales, and I'm sure the axle was well worn.
