Yeah Ken, I didn't hear a budget either.

I bought my JD2210 with 62" deck and 113hrs for $9,500.

If it won't climb it or plow thru it you shouldn't be mowing it.

Not sure this type of tractor would serve Ken. Or if he needs the machine to do multiple tasks. Or what the budget is.

As was mentioned the front mount mowers from New Holland, Deere or Kubota with 4wd will do an excellent job.

I have a Kubota B2710 with 6 foot rear finishing mower I have use there a lot but was trying to find a mower that would be more convenient for storage and for cutting the rest of the lawn. I do appreciate each ones thoughts and recommendation.

Am interested in the more aggressive tires some have installed on their ztr's. Have looked at them on line this evening some but would appreciate recommendation on the thread type or tires they used and their opinion.

I have a set of AT101s on my Grasshopper and it’s night and day difference. It went from getting stuck on a mole hill to pushing mud with the deck.

AT 101s make a world of difference on a ZT. Running wet hills is no problem with them and I can run in mud until the deck bogs. No mower is going to survive that without getting stuck either.

The AT 101 are like R 1 tractor tires, correct? Any issue with them on dry grass in turning? Thanks.

They’re similar but smaller lugs. I find the damage to grass is less because they bite and go vs sliding around.

Richard, there is a used JD same model as yours near me for sale. Nice looking tractor design. No idea the hours and the mid mount mower should have had some work done before being placed for sale. $6,900. Mower lower looks like with it.
