Well - I disagree with the flapper discs being "Free". I got mine, and shipping was fast! BUT - they're the type with the 7/8" open center whereas my 4 1/2" grinder is the 5/8" male stud type.
So, now the "no so free" part. There's no way I'm going to just throw away 10 very good assortment of flapper discs. The only solution that I can think of is to buy a brand new additional grinderHello DeWalt, here I come. awww heck - now I have to buy yet another tool. I guess I'll just have to get over it.

Just use your grinding wheel base and nut. All of your grinding wheels are the 7/8" open center.
