I don't want to appear negative and I love the camera but I doubt it would work in my environment. I tend to push in a lot of brush and lots of time, just stack it on the lift arms behind the FEL. As you said it can quickly be removed. Gauges are very nicely done also but of all the tractors I have used, I have never had any info other than oil pressure, water temp, fuel and tach and they all seemed to work as they should and last thousands of hours.
Customization is all about what the guy doing the work wants and you certainly did a nice job. Congratulations

Thank you Gary I appreciate the comment, it's not negative . I do that too with brush, doubles the capacity of the bucket when using the fel arms. I usually pile it so high I can't see where I'm going, Now I'll have the camera, I'll post a picture next time I do a load down to the dump. Nothing you can do will hurt this camera, pile the brush right on, the camera arm might even help hold the brush in place and prevent it from falling off. But in no way will you hurt the camera, this is one of many many videos trying to damage the Agcam camera. As for the gauges I just like them. I put them on my B3030 and I wanted to add them to my Grand L , Plus I enjoy making something from nothing. I'm not trying to sell you anything. It's me, WaxMan, just playing around:D Kubota does not put gauges on to save money, A Peterbilt will come with gauges. Your Kubota will do just fine with what comes from the factory.

That is impressive, and then some. Can't be cheap but you'll never have to replace it.

What about tapping into the hydraulic oil lines right before or after the cooler? I'll look at mine and see if there are any good spots. Do the grand l engines have a oil cooler?

There's marine systems that can integrate camera and gauges all in one display. I think Ray marine is one of them. Just in case anyone wants to take this to a even higher level.

My thoughts exactly!

And if I'm looking correctly, no filter on the vac to have to clean either, just blow the dust back out side. Brilliant!

Farm Boy that vacuum does have a filter bag, But I like your idea, why have a bag to empty? just let it blow out on the ground or behind the tractor. I may scrap that vacuum and an get a more powerful marine bilge blower with 3 inch intake and exhaust they are about 25.00 on ebay, use the same hose setup in the cab but suck it up and blow it right on the ground behind the tractor back where it came from. Not sure if it will be more powerful as a vacuum but it's worth a try. Your the Brilliant one Farm Boy, Thanks for the idea.

Also
I'm thinking of adding a heavy duty flex coil spring on the camera stick just before it mounts into the base, that way anything that may hit the camera or stick will flex in any direction preventing the stick from getting bent. It will just spring back into position. Kinda like the guide poles on the sides a snow plow. I'll need one about 4 inches high with a 3/4 inch ID with tight coils so it won't vibrate. Right now the camera does not shake at all. I'll have to experiment. Mounting the spring to the stick and still have the hole up the middle for the wire will be a challenge though.
Then that woman in the video can hit the camera on my spring loaded stick like T ball with her metal bat.

Thanks, I'm sure there is a good spot somewhere

As another thought, there might be a small issue with the debris going thru the fan, particularly if you suck up gravel.

I know there are lots of fans designed to handle debris, for example a 1 hp dust collector for a wood shop. Obviously not suitable for your purposes but they handle a ton of crap going thru the fan.

If you remove the filter, make sure you use is outside. By the look of your tractor, your shop must be immaculate.

My garage is always a mess, come to think of it, that was a stupid idea you had.:D

I thought of the Marine bilge exhaust blower because the motor is sealed and waterproof and the blades are non clog unlike a squirrel cage type blower. It would only be worth changing if it doubled the vacuum suction. Otherwise what I have is good enough and does the job.

I know you guys are probably laughing, and politely refraining, but if you have a cab, at any time look at the floor. All that dirt /dust gets blown around by the AC if you just let it build up.
To be able to quickly clean it up between jobs without pulling out the vacuum, cords etc. and making a big deal, just pull the hose out from around the seat and zip, done. The Grand cab has a cloth headliner, cloth seat, wall to wall glass, stereo, now a monitor and gauges. I want to keep the dirt on the outside to keep the inside like new.

Thanks, All tractors can benefit from a monitor. I see you have the guide lines in your monitor. What kind of backup camera do you have? I like your tilt meter does it light up?
