Front fenders?

Ok. Cool BUT why the "yep"
Forgot to delete that.I do like the fenders you have on your Kubota, those are factory fenders, correct?I going to have front fenders fabricated for my 2012 Kioti DK40se in the next month or so and will post a few pics when they are finished.Forgot to add,I will be able to take the fenders off with just two bolts If I decide to go into my woods.I snow plow 2 miles of road in the winter and the front fenders will be a welcomed option for reasons already stated.

4shorts, I will answer YOUR question,I posted the incorrect pic.I have not found the other correct pic yet.The other fellow I have added to the ignore list.

Coobie, I, for one liked the pic, even if it was the wrong one. ;) Very nice deck over that the tractor was sitting on, too. It's what I need for my NX, as the Titan turf tires are nearly 86" sidewall to sidewall.

Ya very odd. Almost to the point of being bizarre. I'm out of possible answers so I give up.

I made a set of plastic fenders one time out of a 55 gallon plastic barrel. Cut sections out of the barrel then cut those sections in half and you have your plastic fenders. You could get creative and use a router to put a nice edge them as well. Just a thought.

Bizarre is an understatement. He does this regularly. He tries to start a fight then ends up making a fool of himself in the process and winds up throwing a immature hissy fit. This thread was no different. You should have read the air bag thread from last week, it was a doozy to say the least.

That's actually a pretty good idea with the plastic barrel. Seems like they would be flexible enough to absorb some abuse as well. So between trailer fenders, plastic tractor fenders on e-bay, and homemade fenders with things like a plastic barrel it looks like there are quite a few options available to the OP. Another thought I has was taking a shallow oval/round plastic or steel water tank and cutting it in half. Might be able to get 2 fenders out of 1 tank. Something like this.

My friend has 2 NH's and both have frt fenders.
I noticed that they were made in Canada. Next time I'll get the makers name and post the info.

So you post a pic of a tractor with no fenders?????? What was that supposed to prove?

The only post with a picture I see submitted by Coobie is post#6. It shows his X740 and it does have fenders (Unless he just edited it with the correct picture). What pic are you referring too.

It was in post #25. He removed it.

Interesting.

Yes, very, although having a Blue tractor I like the Blue plastic barrel fab idea too.

I do have to admit I'm a little miffed with the OP for starting this thread  I thought I was all set for winter until he brought this up ;)

Anybody know where to get some front fenders? I'm cool with making my own mounts if necessary but it occurred to me that by the time the snow flies, I better have a set on my NX.
Eric, did you see the tool box fenders in the thread "New kubota 5070 finally arrived" by LiveRoll. The tool box space would be a great. lt190b

Those barrels are not made out of very durable plastic.... you would be wise to make a couple of sets at a time, IMO. Or find better plastic. They will shatter in the cold and UV will make them brittle also.

They also have available trailer wheel fenders in ally, steel and plastic that have holes for mounting hardware. Cheap too. Online trailer supply like easternmarine.com have 'em.
