My 5101 must be a toy. I don't start it up in the shop, throttle up to 2400 rpm and pull a 18' disc harrow for 14 hours straight (mfwd engaged and the PTO on just to be sure the neighbors know I'm serious).

Can you help me calculate how much money I'm wasting when running at 1.4 gph versus your $150/ day?

Why are you driving around with the PTO on when you dont even need it? :confused3:

Wow they Tedded 12 acres twice last week and raked 8 of them, 4 acres gets raked tomorrow, she put it up to 3/4 of a tank and it's sitting on 5/8 of a tank right now.

JD 5303 MWFD, JD MX6 cutter. Ran approximately 5 hrs at PTO rated speed(2400 RPM). Appears that I have used roughly 10 gallons of fuel. This equates to 2 gallons/hr. The tractordata.com site shows 3.6 gallons/hr. Could be the traveling from site to site not mowing that improved the efficiency.
