Small question is there a fuel shute off valve before the filter so you can turn off fuel when changing filter . Or do you have to train the tank.

There is a fuel shutoff built in the filter head, fuel flow shuts off automatically. RTFM.

It shuts off on its own.
You will lose a little fuel, but not much.

Manual says to not have fuel tank more than half full when removing fuel filter element to avoid excess leakage . Then to fill fuel tank after filter replaced and start and run engine for 30 seconds, then shut engine off, to bleed air from system.

IIRC........I've changed the fuel filter with a full tank, as well as a 1/2 tank and it didn't seem to make a difference.... i.e. not much leakage either way.

Cool! I'm going to do my 200 hour service today, and it will be the first time I changed out the fuel filter. my tank is already at half so I'm not going to worry about it anyway.
