Even steam power has gone up in price. Chainsaws and related equipment has climbed as did the competition at the fuel source. Even the prices for municipal water is climbing.

Just a visit to grocery store is very noticable...

Higher retail prices are the norm except prohibited in a few sectors such as residential rentals... it's more than that in tenants have the option to not pay rent but the housing provider is prohibited from initiating eviction for non payment...

Rents in some West Coast cities have dropped nearly 30% so I'm cognizant not everything has increased...

Which cities? Here in San Diego rents are about the same over the past year, if not up slightly. Housing prices are up 30-35% in nine months ... runaway market.

San Francisco leads in declining rent and vacancies.

Large Tech companies are shedding space and residential rentals down 27% on one bedroom apts.

Homes are setting records both in time on market and price... especially just about any single family with a yard.
