Fuel Prices!

I just got back from a trip to Florida from Charlotte, NC. I paid $1.96 in Florida, $1.86 in southern Georgia and $1.64 home in South Carolina just outside of Charlotte for Diesel. Quite a spread!

Billy, I paid $1.579 for gas in Ardmore today at Love's Travel Stop.

Ouch! I noticed some service stations in my home area still have signs out for $1.579 to $1.619 today, but then stopped and filled up at one that was $1.549.

Price of regular dropped from 2.19 to 2.16 last couple days. Electricity still hasn't dropped from the contract price our govener negotiated of .25/kwhr last year. The good news is that both utility companies just posted record profits ...

Sometimes I wonder how they can charge so much for our weather /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ya, we get a break because of the weather in Nebraska...
Unleaded low's this week.... $1.49 per gallon
Diesel dyed off-road at Coop...... $1.13 per gallon......
Sam's Club - Iowa, unleaded (discount) with card.. $1.44

Where I get my diesel the price remains 1.999, price has held at that level for the past four weeks...the highest price I have seen remains at 2.059 per gallon...

Averaging $1.60/gal here. Got some Saturday for $1.58

My delivered fuel last week was $1.42 for regular gas and $1.15 for diesel.

well certainly no bargains here in CT,diesel is still $1.90 and gas is $1.59-we are always first to go up and last to come down. I cant believe that we as a society have not done something about the gouging we take from the big oil companies. I cant belive that the minute something happens gas prices shoot up,it is the same gas the that is in the retailers tanks-amazing. I am tired of it. Home heating oil-same thing
