fuel pump problem?

You said it. The unfortunately thing is I'm almost forced to become a bit of a shadetree mechanic. I'm hopeful that TYM corporate will start adding dealers and service in my area, but for the moment I'm a bit stranded. I got a great deal on my 273 and she's nothing but work hard, but sometimes I regret not paying an extra 4k and buying a Kubota (or Deere) with better access to parts and service. As long as the problems are electrical I think I'll be okay - anything more major and I may be you know where without a paddle. . .

myyaz - FYI, the mounting holes are slightly different on the pump and the bracket that mounts the pump to the tractor. My bracket (3rd one) had been broken for years (vibration I'm told), but I just received a new one and it's not quite a fit to the pump. I'll solve it easily enough with 1 bolt and tie wraps, but I recall seeing a slightly different model that may have had the correct connectors as well. I just soldered my old connectors onto to the new pump and away she went.
Hope you never need a pump, but at least if you, you won't have a break the bank to get back to gettin er dun!

I saw your post earlier about the mount not fitting perfect and that is fine. It broke within the first year or two and I had to weld it. Been good since but If I need to drill some holes or weld on it again, I will.
