they are one in the same...only difference are taxes and color

my cummins diesel powered dodge ram and L4400 run great on home heating oil.....wait...they should...its the same as what comes out of the ground at the gas station....

The staff at our Shell distributorship tells me that they are one and the same, except for colour, pour point and 6 cents/liter price difference. (They sell us one type of heating oil for indoor tanks, another for outdoor tanks, strictly due to temp difference.)
The tank on our home delivery truck is divided into sections. Some days he has one section filled with dyed diesel, other times its all heating oil...or gasoline...

I get it filled once a year. sometimes I run short some years I have a Little leftover

55 gallons a year ... Sometimes I use 50 gallons a week ... not including the truck!!
