( Yup, table's heavy, about four hundred and sixty pounds worth of heavy. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

But then being heavy ain't always a bad thing. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Yep! You may come home some night and find you've been burglarized, but you can be pretty darn sure they won't take that table. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

...not that it's not purdy, it's just too darn heavy for a thief to carry. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

"The last time I listened to a rock..."

It's been a while since I listened to a rock.
I prefer to listen to a bluegrass. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you opened a door best left closed. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

1. If you inhaled the grass you'd prefer rock.

2. They sound similar but rock isn't quite so twangy.

3. Evidently Moses was hearing impaired. He read rocks instead of listening to them.

I wonder if we could call alternative materials as mainstream? Even in the northeast? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This must be the rock yard on Hwy. 78 between Wylie and Hwy. 205. Bought some big rocks from him about 2 years ago to keep wayward cars out of the yard at my wife's business. I've got a big rock project planned soon. Can't have too many rocks, IMO. I just need to rent a gorilla to lug 'em around.

That is one beautiful table!! The negative space adds so much character to the mass of those big stones. Nice blend of the different colors too. That little 'egg' in there is a great contrast to the hard-lines of the slabs. Nifty. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Same yard. Different owner. It changed hands late last year and the old owner warned the new owner about me. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

We could have fun together. Probably get in trouble with everyone within two counties thinking like that.

Thanx, it was fun. And I can't take credit for everything you saw in it. It just sorta kinda came together all on it's own, I just helped.
