After shooting that hog last month, they disapeared. It's been quite awhile, but the hogs are back. In the last three days, we've identified four big ole boars. One is Z, and he's the one in most of the pics I've posted. He comes and goes, but is the most frequent one that we see.
The other three are all new. Big Boy looks like a nice, thick piece of pork. Nothing special about him except he's new. Just your typical wild boar.
Razor back is a big suprse. The hair on his back is just amazing. Steph shot a sow that was like this to a much smaller degree, so it's not totally unique, but still very cool!!!
Club Foot is our biggest suprise. There are a dozen pics of him, but this is the best one. Most are of parts of him that just show how massive he is. He might actualy break the 300 pound mark. That foot has us wondering what happened. It might be a birth defect, or it might be an injury of some sort. Until we kill him, there's just no way to know for sure. We were thinking that he might be so big because of his injury and has become more aggressive because of it. He also has the most exposed tusks that we've ever seen in a hog here. Not sure what that means either, but he's never been seen before, so he's not dumb.
