If you want to be able to tilt an equal amount to each side, this is what you need. Pretty sure no one else provides this capability for your model of tractor.

$885 plus shipping costs for a complete top & tilt set.

20 week lead times, so get in line ASAP. ;)

Saw that... that lead time won't work for me. I'm researching other options unfortunately. This is why I didn't spend $4500 with EA. They're behind 12+ weeks.

That's fine and I understand that, 20 weeks is a long time to wait when you need something now or soon.

Ultimately I doubt that you will get the proper working lengths for both the top link and side link. That's not to say you won't find a set, just that it won't provide optimum working lengths, so you will need to compromise on the capabilities that they provide. :(

What I'd recommend would be to go with Surplus Center or baileys for a couple of inexpensive cylinders and and depending on how many remotes you have maybe a diverter valve setup mounted right on your box blade.
Cylinders such as these;
Tractor Top Link Hydraulic Cylinders | Hydraulic Cylinders | Hydraulics | www.surpluscenter.com
Any of these for your top link and something like the last one on the page for your sidelink.
This would get you going then order the nicer setup such as MtnView has with all the necessary valving and quick connects you may need,
One thing I would recommend when getting any valving you may need to add I would recommend that at least one be a front end loader type with a joy stick especially with the fore and aft movement having a float position and your left and right movement can correspond to any angle or tilt you are working with that way you have at least one control that you don't have to keep in mind that forward is left and rearward is right or whatever combination you end up with.

"I don't see any way to lock the tailgate on this box. Not sure why I'd want to lock it, but have watched the EA guy explain pros and cons of locking vs floating. Any input from the folks here? "

Looking at your pics, you may only have part of the pieces - at the bottom rear corners where the corner of the back blade and box are near, there should be two tabs; one on the hinged blade, the other on the box - there should be a removable bolt on each end of the hinged blade connecting those two tabs to each other; this locks the rear blade to the box.

Nope no tabs, etc. on either piece and nothing to accommodate them on the gate at least. I can fab something up if needed, but for now I'll learn to use it as is.

Yours may have never had 'em - not sure on all the iterations of the Gannon, but I've seen various box blades that have fixed rear, hinged rear, and hinged LOCKING rear - when I get a chance I'll grab a couple shots of mine and post 'em... Steve

As promised, here's a few shots of the rear blade latches on my old Gannon... Steve

I have owned a couple of those boxes. One is always lock the rippers down before you use them. Second thing is you may need rear wheel weights because once the box is on the ground to scrape you lose the weight. The rear blade lock down is best with a bolt and a self locking nut. Not sure how your tractor controls side movement but you want it fairly solid so it doesn’t jump sideways when you lift it next to a curb or fence. I have some photos I can send if you want.
