Gas 209.0

Diesel with road tax is running 2.799 out here in the land of fruits and nuts. I feel lucky to fill my diesel truck up at 2.599 last night. The lowest unleaded grade sells for 2.259. I think the pricing of .009 will always be with us.

I think the orginal poster was saying that they chose to drop the 9 tenths and make it a round number.
Much like the 99 cent item .. Id rather call it 1 dollar and avoid the penny.
But both are a physiological thing.
Im always glad to see when something costs $29.99 I surely wouldnt buy if it were $30.00. My budget would not survive it..LOL

I don't see dollars mentioned anywhere. I assumed he meant 209.0 cents.

I saw 2.09 last night down in Merrimack. I paid 2.09 in Winchester, VA on Thursday and 1.97 in Port Jervis, NJ on Friday. I hope its not going back up.

Today Mrs. and I notice gas $2.14 in Plymouth,and this afternoon gas in our area went up penny gallon.

$1.97...I can't remember the year any gas or diesel was at that price.

In the past 2 weeks in my area, gas has gone from $1.939 to $2.059 for regular unleaded.

Diesel here in ala-bam. is as low as 2.31 Gasoline 2.03
