The price on the pump must not exceed the advertised (sign) price. This allows the station to change prices during business hours. This is very important to 24 hour operations.

LIL Well, I don't actually do it. My buddy from high school showed me that, when we ran out of gas in his motorcycle. We went to every gas station in town and drained them.. Oh yes when he told me the tank was dry, I asked about the reserve, his reply? "Thats what Ive been using"
But I guess it could add up.
Oh we also stopped at the print shop where I worked, and used some alcohol

Those were funny times.That was when 69.9 66 and 9 tenths was expensive. If you waited in line for hours... That was the true start of the oil 'situation"

The way I understand it, here in Ohio there is NO law against selling regular gas as premium price. The only thing they get sticky about is the quantity.
