What is wrong with the good old metal 5 gal GI "Jerry cans?? I use 4 of them, don't leak, use flexible spout, no spill etc.
Nothin':thumbsup:What is wrong with the good old metal 5 gal GI "Jerry cans??
I'm another fan of the no-spill brand container. I have a two gallon size I use for the two stroke engines. It makes it easy to fill a chain saw or a weedwacker without running gasoline all over the place. The only problem I had was the black plastic ring cracked. The company has upgraded to a better plastic. Anyone who has a nozzle with the yellow dust cover and get a free replacement nozzle from the company by calling. The new ones have a clear dust cover.
Where might someone find one of these ''fuel stations?"
They were advertised in the Bulletin Board a local Buy sell trade paper for 3 bucks apiece .That's a terrific deal on drums though. How/where did you score that?
The only place I've seen them is on the internet. Once I put the tire chains on my plow truck it never goes down the road. I find it really annoying having to dump 10 or 15 gallons of gas into the tank while the wind is blowing. Plus I usually put the plastic cans in the back of my car and the plastic doesn't contain the fumes very well so the car gets pretty smelly.
I would like to see one in person but may just order one. It would be nice if the vent in the cap can be sealed while transporting. The other nice thing is it will not fall over like a 5 gallon can will.
They are not available at common outlets for low prices. What is wrong with the good old metal 5 gal GI "Jerry cans?? I use 4 of them, don't leak, use flexible spout, no spill etc.
And they cost like $10 at full price.harbor freight has the red 'jerry can' metal ones.

They've that stupid plastic carb spout on. I just plan on taking it off and pouring directly. So I splash a little.
