Not sure if it's a good price or not for that machine. They are the new kid on the block, most if not all feedback on them I've heard was from the seller. There are a lot of claims of it's heavier build and more capability but at the end of the day Kubotas, Bobcats, Gators, Rangers...have all proven themselves and at nearly $15k they are not much cheaper than the other options with a well documented track record. My big concern would be where this company will be in another year if a warranty problem does need to be addressed or where are you going to get a part down the road if it's needed. If I remember correctly these are made by Bad Boy buggy...they were also claimed to be a huge step above all others but it didn't seem to work out so well for them. Just my $.02 but I'd be leary of them myself and go for a proven brand instead.

Intimidator has never had any affiliation with Bad Boy Buggy. Nor has ever claimed to Be.

Was started by a former owner of bad boy mowers. Who believes In building a heavier machine 100% American made for a more affordable price then the competition. This has made bad boy mowers one of the biggest manufactures in the world.

Pulled the trigger today on the 2014 diesel Intimidator, will pick up next week. As far as I can tell it is a very well built machine. Guess I will be a guinea pig for this area. I was sold on the 825i John Deere Gator until I say the intimidator. Wow there was no comparison in quality & room. Time will tell if I made a good choose or not but I think I did.

I misunderstood and believed Bad Boy Buggy and Bad Boy mowers were affiliated.

That being said it has no impact on my opinion that the competition has a proven track record spanning many years vs being the new kid on the block at basically the same price. It doesn't change the fact that the dealer network is sparse to say the least, part availability will be suspect compared to those brands like Honda, Deere, Kubota, Yamaha, Polaris,....that have dealers all over the US....and it also doesn't change the fact that 99% of the feedback on the machine is from the dealer not individual owners. With under 70 dealers in the entire country they haven't branched out too far yet for comparison I'm pretty sure JD and Kubota both outnumber their entire network in just the northeast.

I'm not saying the new kid on the block is junk just saying it's not proven and not well supported across the US.

This thing hauled full loads of firewood all winter again and after 3 years not a single problem. What a pleasure to operate. It doesn't need a heater in the winter as it gathers enough heat in the cab from the radiator. In the summer the doors come off and the front windshield opens. I wouldn't hesitate to do it all again with a gator!

New kid on the block will have its day. Is now in a partnership with Mahindra building all their utvs as well. Which puts them all across the world as far as dealer network.

I got a price on a 2014 Intimidator Classic Diesel in camo. Options were 3000# winch, lexan windshield, hard plastic top, side mirrors, basket/tray that muons on back of roll bars, spray in liner. It has about 10 hours on it. All this totaled up to $14,935 tax included. It's not a speed demon but that's OK it will be used around the farm mostly. Was wondering if this is a good price or not. I was concerned that it didn't have power steering but after driving it today I'm convinced that it's not needed at all - very easy to steer even in 4 wheel drive. It has lots of leg room & is easy to get in & out of. I would have liked to see storage area but I can work around it. I may build a box 6" to 8" tall & mount it on the roof.

Price is very fair. One thing I would do is ditch the plastic roof and upgrade to the aluminum roof. A lot nicer setup and is actually $30 cheaper. And for $150 upgrade into the DOT windshield. Your lexan will be hard to see through if you ever wipe it down or clean it.

That will certainly help get them out there and battle tested. I had heard about a new Mahindra UTV...the impact or something along those lines. Will they be carrying the Intimidator name plates too or just their own? Is it an identical UTV or one being built by Intimidator for them?

From what I've heard being an Intimidator dealer. It is our machine with different plastics bumpers wheels seats ect. Frame engines suspensions specs should all be the same. Also stumbled upon their pricing looking like they will be around 2k higher than intimidator for the same product.

Of the almost 2 years I've had the product only seen 2 machines come in with broken ball joints due to operator missuse and a broken throttle cable. Only machine I've had a problem with was a diesel blowing up clutches. To this date don't know why. Intimidator drove 8 hrs and took the customers machine back to the plant and gave him a brand new unit that has been flawless. All my machines pretty much go out the door and im not seeing any issues popping up in these almost 2 years with it.
