Oil & Fuel GC1715 Blowing hydraulic fluid

Never mind, misinterpreted a previous picture... Guess my comprehension skills are fading with age...
Things have change from the early models. The GC2300/2400 had a breather tube on the hydro as well. I can not find it on any diagragms for it the GC1705/1723. The plug for the hydro fill was the same style as the fill plug on the front axle. The GC1705 was the first model that i know of that had problems with oil coming out of the plug, or blowing out the sight level gauge. The tube extension (#19 pipe coupler) in the picture may be for the backhoe equipped models.

Saw it coming out today fluid loaming out around plug I'm going to go to another MF dealer and get another filter I think the one close to me sold me the wrong one and it is causing this somehow. My sight glass leaked the first year I had tractor. I replaced it with a new one with JB weld has worked great till I changed fluid and filter. I measured out fluid when I refilled it and when I put the last in I could see it in glass . It has blowed it out so much now I can't see it in glass I quit refilling thought when it reached full level it would quit now I don't think so.

Based on a Google search, it looks like that filter has a rubber gasket.

If that is correct, did you install the gasket when you put in the new filter? Did you make sure the old gasket was not still in there (so you don't have two gaskets)?

Checking the filter and gaskets is for air inleakage when running. Air sucked in on the suction side of the pump will foam the hydraulic air and push it out the vent. Had similar event when cracks formed on a rubber elbow on the suction line on my Kubota B26. Would not drip fluid.

Foaming fluid check all lines and filters on the suction side.

If the hydro fluid is foaming, it should have a milky appearance in the sight glass during/after use.
