Comparison GC2610 or 1526?

   / GC2610 or 1526? #51
The 2410/2610 can dig up a little more than sapplings. I needed a backhoe for digging up many stumps around my yard and for other digging tasks, plus I wanted it to be manuverable enough while cutting grass to get around all the trees in my yard. The bigger tractor would have been nice, but my 2410 is still very capable, just in a nice small package. Having never owned another FEL/backhoe, I can't say how they operate, but this little thing is pretty useful when needed.

That was posted some time ago. Yeah I know they will dig out anything if you take the time to do it. That stump wasn't dug out in a real quick time but it will do it. Anything beats a pick and shovel  I could use one from time to time. A lot has to do with the type of soil you are in too. We have lots of flintrock around here and it can be tough digging even for a large hoe. I don't know what type of soil you are in there but Florida is a real sandy soil and that little guy would make mincemeat out of stuff down there. It would be downright fun to play with all of the time.

On a side note...if you don't really need a backhoe, you may be better off saving the money by going w/ a 2400/2600 or spend that money on a bit bigger tractor (i.e, 15xx).

Anyhow, by going red, you'll get a nice tractor no matter what.

I've been outside playing (I mean working), so I haven't been on here lately. Now I'm stuck out of town for work (the real kind to pay the bills :D) and I'm killing time.

Yeah. That's where I'm at. I love my 1526. I drove it around the neighborhood today just to drive it. Nuttin much to do with it now

Yes on mmm but Radrock is right on the backhoe, one of the reasons I chose the 1529

What is the max lift height of the endloader of the 1529 and what is the max weight it will lift? Will the 1532 or the 1533 lift higher and lift more weight? Is these max weight lifting capacities with rear weights or is it without the rear weighted?

I like the 1526 auto throttle control. Push hydro and tractor idle speeds up. If your doing a lot of loader work this is huge plus

Hi hayboss. Welcome to TBN. Yeah the throttle ibis nice for sure. Are you familiar with the 1526?

Yes familiar? What can i help with? Nice hybrid tractor not as big as a 1532 or 1529 but larger than a gc.

Don't need any help, I have one and thought maybe you did. I haven't found but one other person on here that had a 1526. I like mine. It is a perfect size for me and what I have to use it for. I could have gotten along with a GC just fine except for plowing snow around here. (Although we didn't get any last year). I liked the comfort of the 1526 more than the GC as well. On the other hand a 1529 would have only cost me about $600 more but then it would have been too big. Nope, I'm happy with what I got.
