HAILEYSCOMET,
Please in the future, do not use all caps...It is considered to be yelling! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, besides being hard to read. Thank you.

Gees, that would confuse me. I've owned several of each )</font>

I like gear transmissions. The big rig I drive has a manual tranny, my Dodge diesel has a manual tranny and my wife's car has a manual tranny. But, for my needs, getting the hydro on my tractor was a no brainer. I believe a gear or hydro tractor is just as reliable as the other. It depends on the needs and wants of each individual tractor owner. I don't believe the first time tractor buyer could go wrong buying a hydro. Some people are tempted into buying a gear tractor because they can save a fair amount of money. But, remember, there many people who don't know how to drive a manual shift car and learning on a dangerous piece of equipment isn't safe.

Like Soundguy said, they are there. It is just hard to find them because of the way that you have to use a key word search. I don't know what key word that I would use for that.

You would think if there was " many many many instances" you would come across at least 1.
It must be a common problem. Do they have the same problems with bulldozers with hydro's not being able to go up hills because of an internal relief valve lifting ??
Is this the only problems they have with hydro's or is there other problems besides this internal relief valve keeping all these tractors with hydro's from going up hills??

Can you think of a keyword that might work without getting 5-10K hits?
