Gears grinding

Sometimes my gears grind on my L2350 clutch pedal travel seems ok and there is no slippage - any comments

Tractor gears are not synchromesh. If anything is turning, the gears will grind. Depress the clutch and wait for everything to quit rotating. If that doesn't work, your clutch is dragging.
