Getting a rim off of a '67 Massey 135...

Finally have to change out the original Goodyear rear on my '67 135...I already did the other one a couple of years ago...so its not like I haven't done this before,,,,but....I've got it jacked/blocked up, all the rim bolts out (6), but that darn rim wants to stay with the center (as this is the orginal that's been on there for 46 years, I'm sure the center and the rim are good friends that have "bonded" --grin)...any fresh ideas on how to pop that rim off the center (while center is still on the tractor)? PS: its just me here, so I need a one guy solution.... BobG in VA

Plenty of spray penetrating oil and a big hammer from the back side of the rim. Rotate and hit again. Once you get it off file the center hole of the rim with a half round file and apply never seize to axle and rim before putting back on.
If that still doesn't get it loose, put the bolts back on but leave them a turn or two loose then drive tractor a few feet or around in a circle then jack up and try again to remove.

I agree with this post but as you spray penetrate on tap around with ballpeen hamer as this sometimes allows oil to get in between rim and hub. I us emrory cloth to polish hub and rim
