Tomorrow will be a very loooong day at work! 
I'll be making a 6+hr one-way trip to St. Louis, Missouri area to pick up a JD 4600. Found it on craigslist, owner seems like a super nice guy and it's everything I've been looking for. Hydro, MFWD, 460 loader, pallet forks, has rear wheel weights, 1 rear scv and newer rear tires. Seems like the further away I get from my locality the cheaper the tractors are.
Wife and I are planning on hitting the Budweiser tour while we're there as well. :cool2:
Once we get home it's game time. I've got more than a few projects that I've been waiting on a little mechanical/hydraulic leverage to assist me in. I've got tons of wood to cut, split and stack and I've got a good idea in mind to make that process much more efficient for me. Going to be building multiple totes to stack the wood in and leave them out in the weeds to dry then move the totes to the outdoor wood burner as needed. That was the main reason I wanted pallet forks.
But first, I promised my wife a 12'x24' building for her garden shed and new chicken coop. I wanted a hydro tractor so my wife can easily drive it, especially to lift trusses and roofing materials up to me when we build it.
It's been a few months since I set my eyes on a certain range of JD tractors and it seems as though I've added to my project list just to be able to use the tractor. :laughing:
