Spring trap hasn't been triggered yet...

That said, I noticed two foxes that are probably living in our yard (they have before, but one was killed and haven't seen the other for a while) and coming home the other night, I saw the pair and one had something in its mouth. Didn't look very large, but was grayish in color, I thought. Would foxes eat moles?[/QUOTE]

Yes! I watched one out in the pasture one morning last year from our deck! He was standing real quiet and cocking his head left and then right for what seemed like 20 min. and then he attacked the dirt! a moment later up he came with mole in his mouth and trotted off, with a grin :D on his face that said "look at what I caught". I do not know who was prouder Him or me cause of one less mole!:)

Got home last night and one of the foxes was waiting on me at the end of the drive and 20 yards up the drive, a deer was hanging out :)

The wildlife was moving last night...and the trap sprung on one :)

I've been using this Victor 0631 mole trap. So far its Paul 2 Moles 0...

Here's an interesting page from Purdue University on moles in the lawn, Purdue Moles.

Good luck.
