Getting to know my 'Bota

Today, I purchased a disc harrow and cultivator for my BX2350. The tractor pulls the implements well, but I found out really quickly that with the disc harrow I need the front weights. So, next week I will pay the local dealer a visit to get the front weight bracket and suitcase weights. Does anyone know how much each suitcase weight weighs? I figure I need about 200 lbs total to keep the front wheels on the ground. So far I really like the BX2350. It will cut the yard in about half the time as my old mower.

Weights are 55# each. The bracket I'm told will hold 5 weights, 275#.

Hi! Cant you just pic up something heavy with your FEL ? That was what I did.
(Or you dont have a front loader...?)

Sam, I dod not get the FEL with mine. Steve, when I get the price I will post. I think they are pretty pricey.

Local dealers quoted me $55-60 each for the weights and $80-85 for the bracket. You will also need a bolt kit app $5-15.

Steve, I finally got to the dealer today and ordered the weight bracket and weights. The bracket is going to be $69 and change and the weights are $63 each. He told me he was selling them to me at cost. I am getting 3 weights (55# each) to start with and if that is not enough, I can add up to two more.
