Eddie, you see there are things in which we are in VIOLENT AGREEMENT!!!

And OBAMA is one such.

The other day a conservative friend surprised some of the locals by suggesting he'd love to see Obama's face on any denomination of American currency. They got it when I reminded them that you have to be dead to be on a bill.

A new study provides further evidence of a relationship between melting ice in the Arctic regions and widespread cold outbreaks in the Northern Hemisphere. The study’s findings could improve seasonal forecasting of snow and temperature anomalies across northern continents.

To have an ice buildup you gotta have precipitation. To get precipitation water has to evaporate. Water evaporates best when warmer. :thumbsup:

Them ocean currents are all about temperature, salinity, prevailing wind on water surface and the eaths rotation.:thumbsup:

Your reactionary friend may want to watch how he phrases such jokes so that he doesn't make an actual threat which is a felony. Also, his joke is not funny and it wouldn't have been funny under President Bush either.

True. But that precipitation can be quite minimal as long as it doesn't melt. Antarctica is a desert (defined as a place that gets minimal precipitation) even though it has thousands of feet of frozen water covering much of the continent.
