I am sure Ford keeps them all over. I fly corporate for a living. Actually got up this morning to take 7 of our top executive's to Providence RI for a pop in inspection at one of our facilities. Anyway up at 3:45 am for a 6:00 am departure then a return flight at 1 pm back home by 3 pm. No way to do that in a airliner.

It will be interesting to see if the rumors about the UAW president mismanagement of funds is true. considering how the labor board monitors those funds pretty close it will be hard to do that for long. AS to retirees, basically if a retirement fund goes belly up the federal government steps in and picks up the tab at a reduced benefit rate but they do provide it. Since those payouts are huge they have a tendency to monitor funds. The steel plants in the 70s used retirement funds to keep running and cost the federal government a huge amount of money and new laws were passed to prevent that from happening again. I was just at a union conference last weekend. This topic came up about the retirement funds for union employees. It took a huge hit because it was in stocks. Our national office treasurer talked about how much money was going to have to be diverted to catch that system back up because of federal law.
