Good grease gun needed!

If you wanted a good grease gun, one that will work with tough zerks that put up a bit of struggle, what would you get? I need one with a fixed neck and a long handle (no pistol grips). I have tried the cheaper options from all the local places, Atwoods, Harbor Freight, WalMart, TSC, etc. I expect to spend ~$60 but, can go a bit higher if there is good reason. On the other hand, if what I want is available cheaper, I'm certainly receptive.

I live in East Texas and grew up in Central Oklahoma so, retail locations along the Interstates are fair game but, I'm expecting to mail order something.

I've had good experiences with Lincoln brand grease guns but am now using a Milwaukee M18 with a LockNLube.

- To get a good Grease Gun, you WILL need to spend more than $60 !

Depending on the amount of greasing you have to do, I do my own vehicles, included a car, a truck and tractor... and a few smaller things requiring grease.

I purchased a DeWalt Battery Operated Grease Gun; it is powerful, gets grease in where you would think it wouldn't; I added a Lock-n-Lube Grease head to hold to the Fittings, best thing I ever did.

It isn't the lightest gun out there but it is the best one I have ever used, the hose on the gun isn't as long as I would like but it can be replaced as I did the head.

It gets the job done !

Lock-N-Lube sell a foot pumped grease gun... a little too much grease for my needs and a little too expensive; more than the DeWalt !

Go with a Alemite if you want a lever gun. One of their guns is a high pressure unit pushing 15,000lbs. I have a old unit that I can switch the linkage from high pressure to high volume.

I use Lincoln 1147 manual grease guns (lever with hose). The 1148 is the same gun but with a fixed neck. The Alemite A500 is also well regarded. Both are 10,000psi rated guns and are very affordable in the $30 range. I use the Lincoln and put 20 or so tubes through it a year, durability has not been an issue for me with it. I mostly grease equipment so high volume is not needed, higher pressure would be nice, but it would probably just cause me to squirt more grease all over....

I have a Lincoln pneumatic hand held I got of an amazon warehouse damaged box deal for 50-ish bucks. Works great and much needed when owning a backhoe.
