didn't know I'd be popping today, but I am. I'm popping all over.
Luckily not with a strange disease but with my new gutter drains called poppers.
I'd never seen them before; hope they can handle a downpour. Exactly what the doctor ordered; gets all the water at least six feet away from the house. Wish I had known he was going to do this before buying seven plastic downspout extenders. Sure looks better without them.
now if only it would rain. Front beds are now mulched and overall a good day.
Except for my trip to Agri Supply.
now that was truly annoying.
First drive over to this store in greenville, huge place, and they said yes they had the seven foot "Chinese finishing mower"
but they had to put it together. great, so I headed over that way today after giving them an extra day to get it built. First thing they tell me when I walk in the door is oh, we have a whole new set of wheels coming for you because these have chunks out of them.
really?
do you know what happened to this mower that would have taken chunks out of the tire?
Shipping damage.
really.
well I'd like to see it to make sure there is no other damage.
Oh, we would never have assembled it if it wasn't right.
really.
out I go on their golf cart. Took me all of ten seconds to say let's go back. Big scratch down the gearcase cover that some bozo had sprayed the wrong color touchup paint on, likely when it was too cold out, and it was all bubbling up. What a mess. No thank you. I think the whole thing had been flipped over because that case had taken a good shot. Hardly just cosmetic.
oh but they all come that way and I've been doing this for thirty years.
really?
perhaps you should set higher standards...
headed to Kubota dealer on Monday for a Land Pride.
