Good morning!!!!

57 degrees here today, sorry guys up North. Worked outside most of the day and thoroughly enjoyed it.
but lookee down in the Gulf and there's a whole lot of water getting sucked up and it's headed our way.
They said half an inch of rain tonight and clearing tomorrow morning but it's going to have to move awfully fast for that.

If this system means even more snow further North, those snow banks are going to get taller and taller.
And the pushing will stop and the scooping will start. anyone making creative snowpiles?
Just as long as it doesn't break the trees and the power lines, snow can be fun. 77 inches in Phila last year; you bet I moved South. Not one flake so far. But it's coming this month I'm told. Three flakes and school is called.

JD, I sent ten grand to the account you specified. Make sure you order the large shrimp now. ;)

JD, wish you were closer to me. A wedding at the Civic Center {where I work} is rarely over $1K, and that is with the day before locked out for decorating. But that doesn't include food, drink or decorations.

Congrats, by the way. Wish you guys all the luck in the world.

Larro

Thanks Larro....knew I could count on you..... and do any of you think I would post a valid link asking for donations? Like I need it...my retirement income is about $64,000 a year.

And thanks to all for the support....

Have a good one!

25 right now...and about 2" of fresh snow last night. We've seen the high already as the temperature will drop to 16, then -11 tonight.

Good morning.

When you all said that extra pipe on the John Deere B was an intake, I imagined a hole at the top sucking in some of the exhaust fumes - sort of an early EGR system !
Now with that sideways on picture showing the breather slots, it starts to make sense.

1 is exhaust, the other the breather. Here's a pic of my B, you can see the slits in the green pipe.

Gary, it was a relief to see a tractor on tbn with a little bit of rust on.
I was beginning to wonder if forum rules prohibited tractors without pristine paintwork.
Worried that I was in for a lifetime ban if a moderator saw the condition of my Ferguson TEF-20.:)

good morning all. 44 degrees, high of the day in rain, clearing out this morning, NW winds 20-30mph coming in with cold temps tonight.

   / Good morning!!!! #30,150
28 this morning and only going down from there low in teens tonight with gusty winds up yo 40mph. Roller coaster ride though high back in 40s tomorrow.

Had surgery on face yesterday large skin cancer removed so no work today and no shower for two days. Stitches have to stay in for 10 days. Doctor says black eye more than likely. Frankenstein comes to mind with stitches inside and out
No cat gut used that was used years ago and only for a short time then cow gut until nylon took over and still used today. Medical lesson for the day

ouch Buppies, sorry. Had a Mohs procedure on my face , under my chin, I think (I guess) from reflected UV after a lot of boating. Melanoma, first of two. You have to get them cut off and it sure puts a hat on your head doesn't it...
Of course they say all this stuff was really caused when we were 16 and lying on a beach someplace with coconut oil on, no spf anything. No matter, sorry you got snipped.

Thanks Drew that makes 10 cut off dozens more frozen off.
Just got news from Blue Coss Blue Shield or whatever they are called now that a cyber attack occurred and all sorts of personal information was hacked social security numbers etc and for those effected insurance offered for identity theft protection. Wow!

now I believe somewhere in the rules I found this...;)
Forum Rules
1. Before operation, wax your tractor
2. Do not get the tractor dirty or touch that nasty ground
3. Must drive up and down lane to cheers of adoring crowds flying TBN flag
4. Shoes off and booties on before using tractor
5. Wash, vacuum and rewax after each use

and if you do all these things, you really should seek professional counseling...
my Kubota is still covered in mud; need a warmer spell to hose it down.

that original "patina" can be valuable to many collectors. Rolling history. And all that grease and dirt actually preserves the paint underneath if it ever got cleaned off.

35 and still falling until we hit 14 with winds up to 28 later. This is payment for yesterdays' nice 57. But no rain or snow today.

Buppies, sorry about the skin problem. I'm part of the club, too, with one on my face and one on the arm...basal and squamous. Too much fun in the sun.

   / Good morning!!!! #30,156
Buppies, hope you heal quickly. That sounds uncomfortable. I've had a couple small freezes and biopsies but so far benign. Working inside probably saved me from more damage. That and being a fair-skinned redhead who had to cover up or really burn badly.

23F with some snow showers this morning. Supposed to get below zero cold overnight here too.

GM all. Got another 5" of snow last night and the temps are falling now to -4. I bet a lot of northerners move down south this year.

Any old iron in any condition is great to see, love to see old tractors in their working clothes.

Morning all, 5F this chilly morning with a couple of inches of snow fall over night, heading to only 14F.

Get well soon Buppies.

59 out yesterday when I got home. Washed my car, drank some suds, enjoyed the sun. Watched the moon rise over the back 40. Nice.

10 out this AM when I went to get some air.
Wind is picking up, howling actually, clouds are moving in.

And the Anthem cyber-attack? Huge deal. Salary info too, and if you have been with them for a while, a nice pattern of your personal data exposed.

Have a good day all, be safe.
