Hi guys...got home a half hour ago....good evening....left at 7 this morning, wife and I took her parents for a trip to Shipshewana as a treat and we also celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the process. Been a LONG TIME since I have driven more than 20 miles in one day...I have always detested driving although when I was working and getting paid to do it, that wasn't so bad.

Lots of coffee this morning. 51 degrees this morning with clouds. Heading to a high of 68 with sun and clouds. Off to the hospital early this morning. Wife is having Knee Replacement Surgery. Everyone give good results from this operations. Going to be great for both of us to go sightseeing again.

Morning guys, have to play catch up since I was gone most of yesterday. Cats are p*****g mad because they didn't get out to roam as usual. Have to clean the bugs and road debris off my Buick and plant two dozen tomato sets. I will have 38 plants when that is done...give most of them away. 52 here now gonna take the felines outside have a great day all.

PS have not seen anything lately from the sucky guy (jmurray01) wonder what his excuse is this time? Oh yeah:

It's a cool 55 here and mostly cloudy at the moment .... it's going up to a high of 66 degrees and partly cloudy .... IOW: perfect working weather

In fact, the weather is supposed to be good (no rain) for the next week .... looks like it might be a good time to make "the big push" to get the exterior surroundings of the barn done .... so I emailed dispatch and told 'em I was gonna take another week off ....

Most likely it will only be me, at least until next Sunday when the wife is off work .... unless I can manage to enlist my nephew to help out ....

Got the geotex laid and heavy gravel placed for the turnaround, 3/4 of the open trench filled and graded, and the leaves, weeds, debris removed from the backside of the barn yesterday .... and a lot of soil screened ....

Good morning all. 62F going to 82F. Good news got some rain yesterday, bad news 1" in 20 min. some of it frozen. Going to inspect the golf course after Bill's attack on it.

Showers today, temp is staying consistent with a high of 14C or 57F. Managed to get all the lawns cut yesterday, took 2 hours with a 42" riding mower.
