32 this morning maybe a little snow later but not much. Today is our 37th wedding anniversary and she still looks as pretty as the day I met her. Good morning

Congrats on the long life together! Lynn and I made it 38 last November, I love her more than ever!

It was like the lord was carving out portions of heaven and earth. Amazing.
He was my friend, he was.;)

32 early, mid 50's again later, then colder but not awful over the weekend. I understand the old Polar Vortex is due back next week though.

Congrats Buppies! How could she have put up with you this long????? ;)

very glad the weather cleared up. Need to drive my motorhome about an hour away to the nearest dealer,
having problems, warranty luckily, with the automatic hydraulic jacking system. The Jacks Down light is on when the jacks are up.
Most disconcerting and I've had to reboot the keypad twice. And I will find out what I did wrong, as in not properly draining the water lines in my new
rv, and see how much damage I did. I got most of it out, and luckily, luckily, remembered the drain on the hot water heater. But I'm betting there's an unhappy plastic line in there someplace. I really don't want to test it in case something leaks "up top".

So off I go for what hopefully will be a fun ride. An old friend lives up that way and will give me a ride home.
Then when I go to pick up the rv, I'll drive the VW Golf to it, run it right up on my new dolley ramps, and head home.
No ride needed... or so I'm told, never done this before. I'll watch while they strap the car in so I know the routine.
I bought the dolley from the dealer and wanted them to hook it up and make sure it worked the way it should. Like do the brakes really work
or do the lights just come on? Those minor details. And how would I know way up front, until I realized it was taking forever to stop.
Ron, I figure I can test the dolley by manually overriding the brake control in the rv, don't want to lock them up and flat spot the tires though.
any words of wisdom on using a tow dolley? thanks.(Demco SS)

Hey Drew, if you ever get down our way, let me know, I have some of that oatmeal with Quaker on the box. :D Just kidding my friend, come visit sometime.:drink:

Buppies, Congrats just over a year behind you.

Drew have used a Uhaul tow dolley, try not to have to back up, it is more like a double trailer with the Uhaul dolley and was no pretty when I had to (once)

I use the progressives to not get tri-focal glasses. Haveing had no line bi-focal glasses eased the transition

Good Morning. 1120, sunny, 55* with 68% humidity. {was 34* at 0630 when Margie left for work} Forecast high of 55* this afternoon, {so I guess it's all downhill from here} and a low of 28* tonight.

Happy anniversary Buppies.

Drew, don't go anywhere you can't drive out of. Backing up can be a challenge, but you won't even know it's back there when towing.

When I saw I was behind David/Sodamo posting this morning, I knew yall would think I had slept in. But I was out of bed at the crack of nine, just kept getting sidetracked.

Everyone have a good day.

Drew, don't go anywhere you can't drive out of.

they have pull throughs, but they aren't always in the scenic spots.
I'm a fair backer, but yeah, on something double jointed, it's just a matter when something gets
pinched and broken. The good news is that there are rear cameras all over the motorhome, sides and rear, so at least I'll be
able to see how badly I'm screwing up.

Had a miserable drive this morning in the rv in dense fog. It warmed up to fifty and I guess the ground is still a lot colder.
And when I parked the motorhome in the dealer service area, and went to get out, the stairs wouldn't go out. Well, sure glad it happened there.
One more thing for the list. Trying to get all the bugs out before my trip.

I never got my house or trex deck powerwashed this year, too much going on for me to do it, so at the moment, in our present heat wave, I have Rolling Suds
powerwashing my house and deck. The smell of bleach is pretty strong. Hopefully all my shrubs won't keel over.
but it sure is nice to look out there and no more green mold, looks new again.

too much excitement, need a nap...:dance1:
