Got tied up with house chores and maintenance most of yesterday. More of the same today.


Managed to finish the one wall in the Milk House with the reclaimed wood. Moved some repurposed furniture in for cabinets. Need to do some carpentry work for plumbing.

Grass needs attention. Less than five days ago it was cut.

Lots of baby birds nesting around the property. Including one in the Milk House walkway between the barn. Took over a cabinet. That's what happens when you don't finish soffit.

Hope all have a good start to the work week. Positive thoughts out there for L4N.

will be doing wash at home this morning, kinda killing time til I have to go get a CT scan
this afternoon at 2pm. At least I can eat breakfast and have my coffee.

Plans for today, finish digging trench for drain by the pool and hopefully get the weed trimmer out and clean up the yard a bit !

Kathleen has been cleaning out unused clothes, so we have about 6 bags waiting to be picked up by the Vietnam Veterans in front of the garage !

Had a good mother's day. Wife was happy. Visits, phone calls messages all good. D sent a nice note overlayed on a picture of wife back from the Houston days.

I suddenly have no to very little control over the right side of my body.

Hopes and prayers there is a fast recovery from this! Very alarming news for so many reasons.

Heading to a sunny 80F. Today I am flood irrigating the pasture ... will put 170,000+ gallons on it in the next 24 hours.

I never saw any aurora in either N. California or N. Nevada. Thank you all for the pix about that.

Good Morning
50° going to 70. Cloudy now, but clear skies forecast.

Yesterday was a dreary one, nothing accomplished outside. Did spend time with Fusion, puttered around the hangar with the little plane a bit, but not terribly productive.

Hopefully today the sun will come out early and dry things up so I can mow, don’t have much else planned.

Daughter is recovering quickly, she is getting around with only a cane, just over two weeks since hip surgery. She was given a 12 week recovery period, it seems that she will be running marathons by then, but what do I know…..

I forgot to mention the oldest son, grandson and DIL came up and brought wife flowers for Mother’s Day. Daughter told her mom that she was her Mother’s Day present. No lack of confidence there!
