65°F and .07 inches rain Successful

Yesterday took and unwanted turn.
Apparently wrenched my back getting my tractor unstuck. By the time I finished my morning bike I could barely walk and the pain had spread across my back to left side. Hopefully just a coincidence and not a side effect of the Losartan BP meds. At this point this morning still there but less. This aging thing has its challenges.

Hand & Foot this afternoon

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
Hope you feel better. Rest and ice?

Good morning! .... well maybe.... depends on how you look at it.....

12" of snow overnight, another 12" throughout the day, and to top it off.... another 6" tonight!
That's 30" total! I believe a record for this time of year. Didn't expect this. The guessers upped the amount yesterday afternoon.

Current temp is 27°, going up to a whopping 31°. Still snowing, heavy wet stuff. I spotted a couple of broken branches already. Trees are really bending over. Power has gone out multiple times, but only for a few minutes each time. Hopefully no long term outages happen.

I know what I will be doing over the next day or so..... digging out and plowing.

Dona is still struggling with the back, but at least she has some pain meds now. Lots of Dr. hopping is scheduled.... a CT scan and MRI scheduled next week. Then a meeting with the surgeon the following week.... not going to be easy for her.

Each trip is an hour each way. Lots of driving is in store. Not as bad as Riptides though.

OK, lost power 2 more times while typing this.... only took over an hour....

Making dog food today. Should be interesting grinding in between power outages.

Everyone have a great day!
Sorry she is still feeling bad. Hope the snow cheers her up.

I'd gladly take some of that snow here, if possible. It is so warm, still and muggy outside, like the dog days of summer.

Quite the dream come true.
Yea. I was joking with my wife, wonder if they would subdivide off a few acres for us to build a cabin... Maybe the toe of this boot? :ROFLMAO: Took a snip of their place, not sure how far it goes up the mountain behind them.

Dang a heck of a way to start the winter season out. Good luck getting it all cleared out. But, you can keep it all out there.

did have Scott, sold the farm four years ago
thankfully took so many pictures I can revisit any time I want

yes, that mud was a learning experience, was getting a diesel tank installed and that Kenworth was coming in.
what a mess. Took me months to get it looking normal again
ten acres of lawn, always liked mowing
I know it's not ecologically sound, etc etc.
but to me it was just another plant and I do love gardening

David, that last picture looks like you are trying to cut down the Amazon jungle.
I'm amazed your tractor will mow that.
Drew, I forget the name, but some sort of Mexican sunflower. The last potato farmer I had talked me into letting him plant. Boy want a mistake and I’ve been paying the price ever since. Very weak wood. Once I get knocked down I can maintain with my flail. I hadn’t cut that area in some time and this past year with just the BX it really crept into the pasture area. Unfortunately, I misjudged and backed directly into the wet and immediately sunk. Should have waited.
