Took Della on a birthday mountain hike yesterday (1 yr old on St. Patrick's Day). Combined several trails in Shenandoah to make a nice waterfall loop...her biggest hike so far. Perfect temps in the 40s and 50s and sunshine. She conked out after dinner. So did I.

Watched the splash down and recovery. Was amazing...happy for the rescued astronauts.

Ron, if you can find the ducks nests, they will only lay x number of eggs then they set on them. But if you keep stealing their eggs they will keep laying all summer long right up till October. Duck eggs are good eating. Even wild ducks' eggs are good eating.

Morning all!
Currently 26 with a gorgeous 62 and sunny day ahead. Kinda cold in the house this morning as the ignitor on the pellet stove has decided to quit! Hopefully can get that replaced soon. Already ordered one this morning.
Spent the day outside yesterday cleaning up some of the yard. Can't believe the amount of fallen debris! Also found a tree that has been riddled with holes by wood peckers. Will need to take it down as it's to close to the storage building.
Off to the hearing place early this morning for my annual test. Hopefully no change. After that wife and I will go for a walk and enjoy the sun! Looks like snow coming for Friday and then again for the beginning of next week.
Nothing in the shop. Waiting for glue ups and inspiration!

35 outside right now, heading to 75.
Yesterday was busy, then got with my little friend the log splitter.
More of that today and into the forceable future. Sigh. I will probably have to find another place to park the ZTR in a two days or so. In the allotted time yesterday I cut, split, moved and stacked about one cord of wood.
