Good evening all. 62ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Moderate wind day, gusts slowed after front passed through, clouded up, no rain, and high temp was 80ºF. Made coffee to start day, oatmeal for breakfast, some office work, bike ride, lunch, organize and start packing for trip, Check truck under hood and tire pressure, nap, dinner, more packing and posting to TBN. 4day trip tomorrow 2 days driving, and 2 days with family. Posting will be as time permits.

Ken yes, sad stuff to lose a family. I worked with a helicopter pilot/mechanic, he said most commercial helicopters have between 3 to 1 to 4 to 1 glide ratios Piper Cherokee about 10 to 1.
